    Potassium PhosphiteTime:2025-10-18

Potassium phosphite has antibacterial and disease-fighting properties, and it also supplements phosphorus and potassium. It is highly water-soluble and can be combined with various nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements. Although similar in appearance to potassium dihydrogen phosphate, it cannot replace potassium dihydrogen phosphate in the fertilizer industry, and its usage and dosage differ significantly from those of ordinary trace elements. Potassium phosphite's drawbacks, hazards, contraindications, and side effects vary depending on the formulation, usage environment, and crop type. Consult with agricultural professionals before using it.

    I. Technical Specifications

Content≥50% (content can be customized according to customer specifications)

    P2O5≥22%

    K2O≥29%

    Cl≤0.1%

    Fe≤0.005%

    Water-insoluble matter≤ 0.5%

    II. Mechanism of Action

    1. Contains trivalent phosphorus. Low-valent phosphorus may destroy active proteins or proteases in harmful microorganisms, bacteria, and fungi, thereby providing a long-lasting anti-disease and fungicidal effect.

    2. Potassium phosphite, when absorbed by crops, may stimulate the crop's active immune defense system, producing polyphenols, phytoalexins, and active oxidants to resist viral invasion. It also induces lignin production in cells, increases cell wall thickness, and enhances disease resistance against harmful microorganisms.

    3. It is possible that the trivalent phosphorus, when absorbed by crops, has a positive regulatory effect on plant functions, effectively controlling growth, regulating stomata closure, promoting the maturation of new shoots, and the greening of young fruit.

    III. Product Features

    1. High Solubility

Potassium phosphite, calculated based on the solid-to-water ratio, can reach 150g per 100ml of water. It is a highly soluble phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

    2. Compatible with a variety of fertilizers

It can be combined with common fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and silicon. With the appropriate adjuvants, it can also be combined with trace element fertilizers such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.

    3. Harmless and Residue-Free

After spraying, flushing, or irrigation, it forms a phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, essential nutrients for crops, leaving no harmful residue.

    4. Wide Range of Applications

It can be used on citrus, apples, pears, cucumbers, melons, watermelons, onions, cherries, grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, leafy vegetables, potatoes, rice, and wheat. It is highly effective against diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, scab, phytophthora, and root rot.

    IV. Storage and Packaging

250 or 300 kg/drum; avoid storage with oxidizing chemicals; consume promptly after opening.

Potassium phosphite improves the soil environment, prevents pathogens, suppresses pests, enhances crop disease resistance, promotes root growth, strengthens plants, promotes flowering, expands fruit, and increases yield. It has significant growth control and fungicidal effects, and is also effective against difficult-to-eradicate pathogens such as canker and anthracnose. The compounding formula of potassium phosphite is complex and requires extensive testing based on the specific needs of water-soluble trace element fertilizers.
